Age‑Restricted Interaction Policy

VybeMe enforces strict age‑based interaction rules to protect minors and ensure a safe environment for all users. These rules apply automatically and cannot be disabled or overridden by users.

Under 18 — Teen Mode

Users under 18 are placed in Teen Mode. Their visibility and interactions are restricted to ensure safety and prevent contact with adult users.

• Cannot view adult profiles or listings
• Cannot be viewed by adult users
• Cannot message or receive messages from adults
• Cannot join adult events, meet‑ups, or shop activities
• Appear only in teen‑safe areas of the app
• Profile photos must be avatar‑only (no real images)

Ages 18–19 — In‑Between Mode

Users aged 18–19 are placed in a transitional mode with enhanced safety controls. They may interact with adults but cannot interact with minors.

• Can interact with adult users
• Cannot view or interact with under‑18 users
• Cannot be viewed by under‑18 users
• Receive additional safety notices and guidance

20+ — Full Adult Mode

Users aged 20 and above are placed in Adult Mode. They have full access to adult features but are strictly prevented from interacting with minors.

• Cannot view under‑18 profiles or listings
• Cannot message or receive messages from minors
• Cannot see minor footprints, check‑ins, or map activity
• Cannot invite minors to events, meet‑ups, or shops

Platform Enforcement

VybeMe automatically enforces age‑segmentation rules across all features. These controls are applied system‑wide and cannot be bypassed.

• Automatic age detection and segmentation
• Automatic filtering of profiles, listings, and shops
• Automatic blocking of cross‑age messaging
• Automatic hiding of minor activity from adults
• No manual override or opt‑out available

These rules exist to protect minors and maintain a safe environment for all users. Any attempt to circumvent age restrictions may result in account suspension or removal.
